Mancakes for Father's Day

Do you think Dad would enjoy some beer soaked pancakes packed with almost a pound of bacon, then drenched in whiskey maple syrup?  I thought so.  Try this simple recipe to make him feel like a king on his big day.

Ingredients:

1.  Your favorite pancake mix. (Enough to yield 4-6 Mancakes)  I used Bacon Freak Maple Pancake mix.

2.  BEER~ enough to replace the water in your pancake mix recipe.

3.  1 lb. Crispy & Crumbled Bacon, reserving some full slices for layering!  

4.  1/4 cup maple syrup

5.  A capful of whiskey.

Directions:

Combine the pancake mix with the beer in a medium bowl.  

Stir in 3/4 of the crispy and crumbled bacon.

Mix the whiskey with the maple syrup and set aside.

Cook 1/4 cup scoops of the pancake batter on a greased griddle.

Stack the Mancakes with the remaining bacon between the layers, and of course on top.

Finally, drizzle with the whiskey maple syrup.  Chow down Daddio!
