We're happy to report that there's no need for you to look any further. You've found it. Made with cream cheese, sweet potato butter, bacon, pecans and green onions, this dip is addictively delicious. You can also sub apple butter or pumpkin butter for the sweet potato butter.

Sweet potato butter is a sweet, rich condiment similar to jam but with a creamy texture and consistency. Made with pureed sweet potatoes, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, it's perfect for adding to holiday recipes. The combination of creamy cream cheese, sweet potato butter, and the crispy savory-ness of the bacon and the toasted pecans are a dangerous combination! Double this recipe 'cause your guests are gonna gobble it up.

This recipe comes from Braswell's, a company founded in 1946. Braswell's always strives for perfection and their newest line of products harkens back to an era when people spent more time enjoying a perfect moment... a wonderful meal with family. Apple Butter or Pumpkin Butter can be subbed for the Sweet Potato Butter.

Ingredients:

One 8 oz. block of cream cheese, room temperature
One 13 oz. Jar Braswell's Sweet Potato Butter or Braswell's Select Sweet Potato Butter
1/2 pound bacon, cooked crisp, cooled and crumbled
One cup pecans, toasted and chopped
Two green onions, chopped

Directions:

Spread softened cream cheese in a medium serving dish. Top cream cheese with 3/4 jar of Braswell's Select Sweet Potato Butter (Apple Butter or Pumpkin Butter can also be used). Top with crumbled bacon and green onions. Serve with your favorite water crackers or pita chips. This dip is also an excellent spread for bagels.
